Fluoroscopy Guided Arthrograms and Pain Medication Injections

MR Arthrograms

MR ARTHROGRAM

This is a 2 step process. The first procedure uses “fluoroscopy” (x-rays) to find the joint space. This is performed under sterile technique by our Radiologist. The skin is cleaned, the area frozen. X-ray contrast is injected into the joint space to confirm the location, then MRI dye is injected. The patient then has the MRI of the joint. The contrast highlights the joint and can detect labrum tears.

Best of all, no long wait times.
