Conveniently located in at our Main Clinic in Surrey.

Elysian is a leading healthcare provider in Surrey, committed to providing comprehensive health care solutions to patients. We offer custom orthotics to patients who require support for their foot biomechanics. Orthotics are specially designed shoe inserts that help to support and correct poor foot biomechanics, which can help to reduce stress on the feet, ankles, knees, hips, and lower back.

Poor foot biomechanics can lead to a range of injuries and conditions, including Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, patella-femoral pain syndrome, bunions, neuroma’s, shin splints, metatarsalgia, ilio-tibial band syndrome, and low back pain. These conditions can cause significant discomfort and impact a person's mobility and quality of life. Orthotics can help alleviate these symptoms and prevent further injury by correcting the foot's biomechanics.

Our Orthotics Process

At Elysian, our orthotics offering is designed to cater to the needs of all patients. The process starts with a detailed biomechanical exam and gait analysis, which involves assessing a patient's posture, range of motion, and foot alignment. This information is then used to create a custom orthotic device that is tailored to the specific needs of the patient.

Footmaxx 3D

One of the key features of Elysian's orthotics is the use of the Footmaxx 3D laser scan of the foot. This technology provides a highly accurate 3D image of the patient's foot, allowing for precise measurements to be taken. This information is then used to create a custom orthotic device that fits comfortably in a range of shoe types, including casual and dress shoes, work boots, and active footwear.

Orthotics for All Ages

The orthotics offered at Elysian are designed for all ages, from children to seniors, and can help with a variety of conditions. For athletes, orthotics can improve performance by providing additional support during physical activities, reducing the risk of injury, and enhancing overall foot function.

Injury Prevention

The benefits of orthotics extend beyond just alleviating symptoms of existing conditions. They can also help prevent future injuries by correcting biomechanical issues and providing support to the feet. Orthotics can be especially beneficial for people who spend a lot of time on their feet or engage in physical activities regularly.
